Being a parent for a child who doesn’t consider you to be their parent is hard. Providing structure and love is challenging with the “you’re not my parent,” custody orders, and the fear of not loving the child as if they were your own.
If we don’t take any action, the predictable future will be an increase of conflict, poor family relationships, and difficult behaviors. However, if we created a new possibility, the future could be love, healing, thriving, unity and connected families.
